Ron's Story
Life
My two most enjoyable things in the world are:
1.) I have two great kids (both boys - 11 and 14)
2.) Tournament Bass fishing
Workplace
Since leaving the USAF - Contractor for a big IT Solutions firm doing software engineering for the USMC and USN, internationally, but am semi-enjoying mid-life retirement at the time.
Military
USAF 1985 - 1998. After basic training and technical school; two Joint Service Commands on the East coast. I worked at the White House directly under and traveled with three different U.S. Presidents around the world(Pres. Reagan, Pres. Bush, and Pres. Clinton). Then worked at a remote site in Pennsylvania (near Gettysburg). My military life never seemed to end it just blended into another type of lifestyle after departing the USAF and upon entering the "civili...Expand for more
an" life, working for the USMC and USN. One thing remained the same, as I continued to travel all over the world. And after traveling to as many places as I have...I still say that it is much more wise and worthwhile to bring a couple of fishing poles than a big bucket of golf clubs.
Personal Time: Spent alot of time coaching soccer for both of my boys' teams at different times - Took my oldest son's team in VA. to the VA. All Stars Soccer Tournament 3 yrs in a row. Spent alot of time fishing Bass tournaments up and down the east coast. Including two a year in Canada, 1000 Islands (South of Ottawa and just above Syracuse) on the St. Lawrence, and Lake Champlain (VT. and Canada). Even had alot of tournaments at 3 mile Island(nope no 3-eyed fish!), PA. & many other places on the Susquehanna R.
