Ron's Story

Life Ron joined BQI in 1979 after five years as one of the first radio and television engineers with Florida International University in Miami. At a time when television production equipment was evolving, he began working with the emerging technologies of the industry as an engineer and videotape editor. As BQI expanded, Ron put his skills and talents to work with the design and installation of the firm’s post-production editing suites, mass duplication and media monitoring facilities. Over the past 25 years as BQI’s senior on-line editor, he has worked on thousands of video presentations for local, regional and Fortune 500 clients. In addition, Ron is credited with the design of many of the graphical elements and corporate identities that reinforce and brand the client’s image within the video message. Playing an important role in all aspects of the production process he ensures the technical excellence of every production. Ron has served as a member of the Miami-Dade School Board Technical Advisory Council and is a past President of the Miami Chapter of the International Television Association.
