Ron's Story
Married to Linda Katherine Acker (Teacher)- July 10th will be 41 years, 2 children - Jeremy Shawn(Procurement Specialist) - 35 & Jennifer Nicole Henard(Teacher) - 31, No grandchildren (just a Lab named Hank) Currently am employed by Menlo Worldwide Logistics - I have been in 3rd Party Logistics for 40 years. - We currently employ 20,000 employees world wide. I was chosen this year to serve on the Diversity Council for my company - Council consists of 14 people from all over the world. While there were some good times in High School, my worst time in life, was my during my high school years. I think because of that, I decided that I needed to befriend those who had the same experiences and to offer my support and the friendship I was not afforded. I attended the 10 year reunion, and realized nothing had changed, so I haven't attended one since. No one forgets and I would bet after 45 years those memories would still exist.
I was chosen as a Deacon in my church in 1994, and was ordained on my birthday 9-26-94. I worked with children and youth for 25 years, and as I got older progressed to Senior Adults. I think I wanted to know what I could look forward too. Not sure I want to go there.
