Ron's Story
Life
Having lived in the Oklahoma city/Norman area most of
my life-decided that it was time for a change. Leaving the
fast pace of city behind, ended up at a small town outside
of Tulsa, called Glenpool. Surrounded by trees, waterways
and QUIET-Life is good!!!
My wife Mary and I have been married for 24 yrs., have
two boys-Daniel (22 yrs), Stephen (15 yrs) and one VERY
spoiled border collie named Boomer (always the Sooner fan).
Worked for Southwestern Bell telephone co. for 6 yrs,
but found that to be unfulfilling. Was a carpenter (cabinet
maker) for 13+ yrs., but after moving here to Glenpool-
opportunity knocked when I was offered a managerial position
here in town. With the wear and tear on ...Expand for more

of the woodwork-decided to take the position. I happily
refer to this, as my semi-retirement job!
Get back to Norman quite often. Still manage to attend
alot of OU's games and always run into someone there that
I know. The town is sure changing/growing. Norman High
still pretty much looks the same, but different also. Some
good times had there.
We travel as often as possible, with our favorite spot
being in Cancun, Mexico. What a beautiful place! Love
the snorkling, the drinks on the beach-watching the sun
set on the horizon. Am seriously considering retiring there!!
Currently hoping to "hit" the lottery jackpot in the hopes
of getting me there, ha......
