Ron's Story
Hi Gang,
Ron here from the 72 class but some of my favorites were also 73 grads— I was married to a 73 alumni for 13 years, but of course 13 can be the unlucky number. a huge favorite and impact on me during high school. My own 30 year career in education wasn’t always seen through rose colored glasses, but enough upsides and defining moments to walk away at age 52. There were a couple of Jr High State Track Championships at Shea Middle School, and two Cross Country State Titles at Shadow Mountain during my “run”. Having never been shy about public speaking or a microphone, I’m now the announcer for many athletic events around the state mostly in T&F, CC and road races. Still haven’t been caught dropping an F-bomb or the like over an open mic. The current PV Track and CC coach gifts me one of their team t-shirts every season—- GO TROJANS. Hoping you’re all doing very well. CHEERS
