RETIRED!!!!
I was employed at the San Francisco Zoo and cared for Lions and Tigers that live there. This has been my long term professional goal, and I find my job exciting and rewarding, and as much as my personal life is full and busy, it is often difficult to tear myself away from my cats, especially on my Fridays. In the course of my 17 years as a professional animal keeper, I have cared for everything from Eagles, Bison, Leopards, Primates, Kangaroos, Caimen, Alligators, Macaws and Koalas, right on down to tiny South American Honeycreepers. ...Expand for more
Before that I was running the Computer Reconcilliation Section of the S.F. Tax Collectors Office for three years. I had started my career with the City and County of San Francisco by working in various positions with Community Mental Health Services starting in the lowest full time position possible and working my way up to function as a Senior Business Manager where I developed budgets wrote contracts, grants, audited programs, and at times found money to help keep facilities open. I finally functioned as the department's Senior Administrative Analyst.
