Ronald's Story
Life
After High School I spent 20 years in the Air Force, then 14 at Tektronix. I then worked for NASA in Sunnyvale, CA. I have been married twice; now single again and will probably say that way. Life is great in the Silicon Valley, except the cost is outrageous. I bought a Town House for about the same thing it would cost for a mansion in Salem. Maybe someday I'll retire (again) and move back to Oregon.
Later...
I was forced to leave NASA after 9/11, when NASA suffered massive budget cuts. I am now retired (again); maybe it is time to move back to Oregon...

I did not attend college in a regular four-year campus environment. I attended off campus classes at the various Air Force bases where I was assigned over a much longer period of time.
Military
I spent 20 years in the Air Force. 11 years in Europe and the rest in Florida and California. I never went even close to Vietnam. So, I can't complain. I saw a lot of really neat places and things; met a lot of interesting people (including my first wife). I got a lot of good education, training and experience. I got my first Bachelor's Degree while still in the Air Force.
