Ronald Bower:  

Life Graduated Michigan State University 1965. Entered US Army and served in Viet Nam, Ft Bragg, Ft Benning, and Korea as an Infantry Officer. Received a Master of Education from NC State University in 1977. Served with NC Army National Guard and USAR and retired from The Joint Staff, The Pentagon in Oct 1993. Retired from the US Civil Service in 1999 after serving as the Senior Educator at Marine Corps Combat Service Support Schools, Camp Johnson, Camp Lejeune NC. This was the Recruit Training Center for all African American Marines in WWII and the Camp where Mr Earl Shorter, our high school chemistry teacher took his Recruit Training. Currently am a teacher and free lance historian specializing in Black Military History in the Jacksonville North Carolina area. Currently am a certified Guest Teacher (long term)in Onslow County NC and also the Past (2004-2005) District Governor for North Carolina of Toastmasters International School Started with Mrs Dudley's AM Kindergarten at Francis E. Willard Elementary in Philadelphia 1949-1955); John Paul Jones Junior High (1955-1958) with a short hiatus to DelHass and Ben Franklin Junior High in 1955 in Levittown PA.
