My Pets
We have two wonderful Tonkinese cats. Alex and Andy. They are not brothers, but they think they are. One is a plattinum mink Tonk and the other is a champagne.
My Job
I'm a psychologist. I have a private practice on Long Isalnd. I retired from working in schools about two years ago. It's now December, 2014 and I'm still working as a psychologist. I may or may not retire.....we'll see. I'm not ready yet! I had a friend whose psychologist moved into assisted living and still saw patients!
Relationship
I have been in a relationship for about 7 years and it gets better and better every day. We bought a co-op on Long Island and still have the Brooklyn Heights apartment too. assed our gay civil rights law allowing us to marry. Our wedding was a small one in our church on Long Island. We had a larger reception the following week.
Probably my favorite activity is working out. I get to the gym at least three times a week and work with a trainer. I've been doing it for about ten years. At this point, I schedule the rest of my life around my gym appointments. Who would ever have believed it???!!! 2014 and still working out. I lift more weight than many men half my age. People shouldn't underestimate boomers!
I moved my church membership to Church of The Ascnesion in Rockville Centre where I sing in the choir and am involved in many activities of the church. I serve as Echaristic Minister and take Communion to shut ins and those in nursing homes. I'm also in my second term on the church vestry.
