Ronald's Story
After High School, I attended ASU for one year, but decided that "Higher Education" was not for me. I joined the U.S. Navy and spent 3 years in Electronics and Nuclear Power Schools. I spent a total of 6 years in the Navy, last 3 on an attack submarine out of Pearl Harbor. After I got out, My wife and I moved to Flagstaff where I worked in Electronics for the school district until 1977.
In 1975, I joined the US Coast Guard Reserves. I served in Boating Safety Patrols, Electronics at San Diego, CA and Search Light, NV, finally ending up in Long Beach, CA as a Criminal Investigator. I was fortunate to work plain clothes Dignitary Protection during the 1984 Olympics in Long Beach, CA. I retired from the USCGR in 1994.
In 1977, I started my career as an Arizona Highway Patrol Officer, eventually winding up in Kingman, AZ where I retired after too many years of "chasing tail lights" and a couple working Narcotics and I was on the front lines at the Copper Strikes in Clifton/Morenci in 1984.
We opened The Life Line Christian Bookstore in Kingman in 1993 and closed it in 1997 after losing too much money.

ment with North Star Steel (a division of Cargill Corp) at a new steel mill in Kingman, AZ. I worked in shipping and ran cranes, fork lifts, industrial machinery and even drove a Diesel-Electric locomotive moving rail cars. This job ended in the Spring of 2003 when the steel mill was sold and closed.
In 2004, I began working for Dish Network Satellite TV. I spent 3 years as a Technician and ended employment in 2007 as a Field Service Manager.
Currently I am completely retired and spend my time travelling, riding my motorcycle, restoring my 1969 MGB, helping with my grandsons online school and doing all the cooking, shopping, finances and laundry (I'm Mr. Mom).
I have been married since 1970 to Donna Willis (class of 1970). We have 2 sons and a grandson and 2 granddaughters.
We have taken several cruises, Mexico, Alaska, Carribean and just came back from a Med Cruise on the Norwegian EPIC . Our oldest son is a Master Sergeant in the Air Force (now retired) and has been in Germany with his wife and our youngest granddaughter. This trip was also visiting them and we were fortunate to spend 5 days in a country Bed and Breakfast in Tuscany, Italy
