Attended Brown University graduating with a degree in Biomedical Electronics in 1968 Played varsity soccer and coached for one year Graduated from Tufts Medical School with an MD in 1973 Worked for Hewlett Packard part time as a biomedical engineer for six years while doing my medical training. Medical Information Technology and Health Policy for 12 years part time President of the Massachusetts Medical Society 2014. Chair Committee on Diversity. National Commission to End Health Care Disparities currently Board of Directors Coverys Malpractice Insurance Co. Married with three sons and two grandchildren. Most of my extended family is still in NJ.
