Ronald's Story
I entered S. Portland High in my Junior year after attending three other high schools. S.P. was by far the most advanced of them all. I Struggled with my studies, repeating most of my previous classes, In 1969 I became a graduating Junior.
I was surprised with a scholarship to the culinary arts course at S.M.V.T.I. to begin in the fall. I finished the first year, worked in a restaurant in West Bath that summer. I returned the next year, but, enlisted in the Air Force and served from March of 1971 to November 1977.
Was married in April, 1972, we have had two children,( a son & a daughter ) and five Grand-children.

d with a headache for over a year, oat 9:15 AM I was making change for a customer, looked at my co-worker, said, "Neil, I don't feel g......and passed out. I was in a coma for ten days. I had had a ruptured brain aneurysm and became disabled. n fact, died three times the first two weeks n the hospital. Now I spend a lot of time on computer and do what I can to keep busy.
Last month, May 2012, I thought I had the stomach flu, BUT, it was a ruptured lower intestine. Another surgery. Am fine now.
Update: On July 17, 2013, my sixth grandchild was born, a boy. His name is Happy John Fenlason. Otherwise everything about the same. Does anyone know if we are having a 45th reunion this year?
