Ronald's Story

Here we are some 49 years after we graduated from old NHS. I entered the Air Force right out of high school. Then went to work for the Postal Service in Silver Spring MD as a clerk. Promoted to Postmaster of Poolesville,MD and then promoted to Postmaster of Warren,RI. Ended up my 32+ years with the P.O> as an "Internal Auditor" working with the Postal Inspection Service in Maine. I've now been retired for 17 years. I've been with the Boy Scou...Expand for more
ts as a Scout and as a volunteer for 54 years. Currently I am an Asst. Council Commissioner. This past March I completed my "Doctorate of Commissioner Science" at the Lord Baden Powell University of Scouting ( took me 11 years). I also like very much to chase the little ball around the course...most years I play somewhere around 185 rounds. After I retired I finished 2 things I had started over the years...I finished hiking the highest 100 mountains in New England ( AMC award) and I finished hiking the AT ( Georgia to Maine) I married the love of my life May 8, 2010 and are looking forward traveling and more golf!
