Ronald's Story

I was not a full time student at Crenshaw High School. My home school was Manual Arts High. I attended Crenshaw for one class twice a week. Crenshaw was out of my attendance zone, but Manual Arts offer a program called "Apex", this program allowed students to enroll in one class, at any high school in the Los Angeles area. The requirements were, you had to select a class that was not offered at your home school...Expand for more
. Manual did not offer a "Horticultual class" (Horticultual, that's a fancy name for "Home Gardening"). Until this day, I still enjoy gardening. The Horticultual class at Crenshaw High School was a good experience. Also, I never will forget the day that Manual Arts played Crenshaw in a Football game. We loss to Crenshaw by the score of 35-28. I cried on the school bus all the way back to Manual that day.
