Life
I joined classmates, in part, for all the activity my wife found here with her school and graduating class. The creatively inaccurate "activity" classmates implied re Sullivan and those making contact and "looking for me", found me signing up to see who these old friends were. These people mght as well been from Mars...smile.
Years I NEVER attended, names I'd never heard of supposedly trying stay in touch. I recall an "off-decade" reunion I attended. Since I happened to join interesting that there are so few attempts to stay in touch, or initiate a reunion. I actually had a pretty good time at sullivan. I've had an anxiety disorder all my life, and it certainly affected the ways I delt with relationships and day-to-day issues. It made Sullivan that much more diff...Expand for more
icult Talking about that sort of thing at 17 was difficult to say the very least. It certainly colored my ability to be social...and those who knew me best might find this snip of info makes a bit of sense. Though we are all at very different places in our lives...it strikes me as unfortunate that such remarkable times, friendships, and bonds are left hanging - perhaps born of disinterest - perhaps the hectic pace of our lives today. Those were some special years. My yellow rag-top Corvair increased the scope of what my friends and I could explore. First loves/infatuations, friends I though I'd know a lifetime, tunes that still quite easily elicit vivid memories and revive special moments.
