Ronald's Story
My H.S. yrs started 1964 at Wheatridge Jr. High Sch., Wheat Ridge,Colorado.
Moved to Carson City,Nevada, 1965, so Dad could teach at Carson H.S., That created most of my memorible times with teachers and friends. Never dated anyone steady. It was considered a no no in the dating scene when your parent was a teacher. Never forgetting friends in Colorado.
Went to every game, field trip, sock hop and club activity with Lot's of movies between Carson and Reno. Earning extra money sitting for college teachers living in Carson City.
In the Summer 1967, moved, Dad's new teaching post at South Kitsap H.S., Port Orchard, Washington. For a year returning to Colorado
THUS finishing my H.S. yrs at Arvada West H.S., Arvada,CO. I was 1st Place Winner of the poster contest for play Brigadoon. Worked with set designers and art club as painter for the pinkish purple color that was to represent heather in the moors for the play back drop.

mens shop in the plaza.
Remember the wing tipped monk strap buckled shoes, white levis,Nehru shirt with love beads and peace symbol. The store rush for purple T shirts and white jeans and slacks for senior skip day.
Known for dating people from Golden, Jefferson, Lakewood, Wheatridge, fewer at Arvada and Arvada West Highs.
Went to Prom twice at Jefferson High. But never Arvada West. Sock hopped at various schools.
Expelled, The week before graduation. Senior Ditch Day was cancelled. A bunch of us took off anyway.
We, Got caught at malls, minature golf, Roller rink, bowling alley and the food drive in. All now demolished except bowling alley.
It took major pleading by our mothers in order for us to graduate with our class.
Our parents and neighbors took notice, when we showed up on local television, at a Viet Nam War protest. Thank goodness for kinescope, films were burned, shredded or lost.
Remember the woodsie afterwards.
Hung out at the Arvada Dtwn, now old town, pizza parlor, demolished, teen club, demolished, drive in movie demolished and four malls, one with indoor minature golf. All demolished.
History goes on.
