Ronald Moore:  

e Presidents role in the New York State PTA and 2 years as Public Relations Chairman. My church related activities have included singing in the choir, Sunday School teacher, soloist, Chairman of the Staff Parish Relations Committee, Lay Leader and Speaker, Chairman Parish Council for 3 years, Chairman of Fund Drive to Raise funds to renovate First United Methodist Church, North Tonawanda, NY, Co-founder of Community Corner Cafe at First Church, and worker at Cafe community dinners. Presently and most joyously a member of the Pendleton Center United Methodist Church where I serve as a team member in serving communion, prayer chain, work funeral luncheons and attend Saturday evening church service and sing in thecasual choir and solo contributions. I have, always, enjoyed singing and sang Barbershop Harmony with the Friends of Harmony for nearly 10 years competing throughout the country. I, also, sang with the Tonawanda Childrens Community Chorus where I was fortunate to travel throughout Europe in 1960 for over 6 weeks and had the priviledge to sing for Pope John the 23rd at his Summer home outside of Rome. My favorite organization to both serve and contribute to is the Make-A-Wish Foundation. How wonderful to make that very special dream come true for a child or even a young adult who may never be given the opportunity to witness that special moment that they so desire. If, (and it will happen) and when I should pass on, please do not send flowers, but rather, please, make a contribution, in my name if so desired, to the Make-A-Wish Foundation. I am blessed with having a lovely wife, Donna, who as of this moment are married for over 45 years, having 3 grown children, and 11 grandchildren who I love both dearly and will cherish forever. I love life, love my family, friends, the people in my life, and love the thoughts of waking up each morning to a new day of beauty,adventure and yes, even the unkown.".
