Ronald's Story
Hello Everyone
I am married to a wonderful woman Peggy. She is the ONE for me as she is ONE day, ONE month and ONE year younger.
I was involved in the Marching Band, Choir, Tennis team and Physics class. I remember I was just outside the choir room when I heard that Kennedy was shot.
After High School I went to Cal Poly Pomona for 1.5 years. Volunteered for the US Army for Medical Technology training but qualified for Special Forces training. I spent my 21st birthday in the hospital and shortly after was given a medical discharge. Graduated from Long Beach State University in Medical Microbiology. After working in 2 Hospital Labs I had 2 knee surgeries. The second surgery did not go...Expand for more
well and was told I would have a limp. I decided to backpack through Europe and luckily for me I fell down a few flights of stairs and broke the adhesions and no more limp. I went back to working in Clinical Labs and then onto Medical research in anaerobic bacteriology and then HLA tissue typing. I wanted to make more money and went into Medical sales until a few years ago when my arthritis limited me. I am now retired. I love traveling and have traveled to all the continents except Africa and Antarctica. I have been to Ireland some 5 times and really love the country and the people. I have found that we have more in common with each other in this entire world than our differences.
