Ronald's Story

My "hello" to anyone who may find their way here and take the time to read this. Two years ago I decided to retire from the practice of medicine after 39+ years in private practice and 2 years medicine in the air force. As many of you probably have done, I over volunteered at times but in general have been pleased. I enjoy doing teaching rounds at Evanston Hospital and also did some tutoring of junior medical students and then go to the medical school about 6 weeks a year with sophomore students. Also sit as a medical consultant with administrative judges on occasion. So...Expand for more
I managed to stay in medicine but on a lower intensity level. Also serve on the North Shore senior center board. I decided to learn to play golf now that I am retired but no one confuses what I do with golfing. I also found out I am a heck of a lot better at eating fish then I am at catching them. So I let friends do the catching. I like to read and watch old movies. Also I enjoy my 11 grandchildren who all live from one block away to a 45 minute drive away. Amazing that 4 daughters can yield 8 grandsons and 3 granddaughters. Anyway, it's been fun. Ron Semerdjian
