Ronald's Story
After graduation, I decided to be carefree and not go to college. Instead, I raced my Plymouth GTX and my motorcycle at the track and worked at a gas station and as a security guard. Later on I went into an apprenticeship for HVAC. ( refrigeration, air conditioning and boilers) I worked for the federal government from 1976-1980 using these skills and also finished an Associate Arts degree in Engineering. I made the decision to continue my education and at the University of Baltimore I was very active in student govenment and I enjoyed going to school for the first time!
I finished my B.S. in Business Adm...Expand for more
inistration and went to work in the aerospace business and worked on various programs. At NASA, one of the things I worked on was Hubble. I left NASA and in 1999 went to work for Northrop Grumman; again in the aerospace field.
I am married and I have one son who I am currently helping with fixing up his first house. I have a seven year old granddaughter will be in second grade and I am having great fun watching her grow. We have a 5 year old grandson that is very busy.
I retired in 2006 and am happy not going to work every day .I am looking forward to meeting some old friends from Arundel High School.
