Ronda's Story
Life
Let's see. I am happily married to my second husband. First husband was a reaction against my father that didn't work out so well. I worked at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University for the past 7 years, lastly as a admissions and enrollement counselor to new students in our online degree programs. Recently I changed careers and have become a Social Studies teacher at my old Alma Mater Lake Weir High School. In my spare time, I help run my husband's company. He makes and sells Medieval Combat armor. We are part of a group called the the Society of Creative Anachronism ...Expand for more
(SCA). It is a medivel recreation society that is 40+ years old and is world wide.
I always thought growing up that I would be a teacher. I had the opportunity to teach several terms of Computer Applications and the university and discovered that it really wasn't for me. I have been lucky in that my job(s) have provided me with a lot of variety, everything from teaching college students, to organizing and hosting a international computer software conference for the FAA. In addition I have designed and maintained webpages and access databases in the course of my work.
