Ronda's Story
Ok for those of you that are interested in what I've been up to.
My husband and I just celebrated our 19th wedding anniversary the first part of Feb.(09).
We have 4 boys:Bryer(18yrs),Clinton(16yrs),Shawn(15yrs),and the youngest is Kyler(13yrs.)
I have 5 dogs,we lost our female lab last October from bad hips and old age.We miss you Heidi.
The rest of the clan is a Black lab,a yorkie/cocker spaniel mix,and 3 miniature schnauzers.
I breed mini schnauzers. They are such lovable animals.
We live on the out skirts of Mesa towards Apache Junction.We have been here for 9 1/2 years.
We bought a HUD home.That for 2 years was a "meth" home. That's what all the neighbors had told us and you could tell from all the graffiti that was on the walls. We had to spray paint over somethings so the kids wouldn't see and learn a few BAD things.We had to completely gut the home and remodel, including putting a new roof on (it also included stripping three layers of shingles off)with in 3 months. The house really needed to be updated since it was built in 1952.I have an incredibly talented husband and so is his entire family.With everyones ...Expand for more
help we were able to do the remodel in 3 months.
I should add that I was on crutches for a month during the remodel.The reason for the crutches is,
I have a 1990 Jeep Wrangler that ran me over and broke every bone in my left foot.I was lucky that I didn't loose that foot. Lots of surgery to put screws and pins and TONS of physical therapy saved my foot.I was a letter carrier for the US Postal Service at the time. Because I had enough time in as a carrier I was able to retire on disability.I have been retired for 9 years. I really miss delivering mail.If you can believe it, it was a stress reliever at times. I also was a Supervisor at times which that was not a stress reliever but was good money.
Just recently we lost my little brother Rusty. He took his own life at the age of 35.He had been extremely depressed.I guess from drugs,and other stress that was in his life at the time. Alot of people say he took the easy way out,but just one more day of help and I think he would have made it. I truly miss him.
