Ronda's Story

Hello, I hope all is well with everyone. I wish everyone a Happy New Year and prosperity in the year to come. I can't believe it's been 17 years since graduations as it feels like just yesterday I was fighting to get my sister to school. We are just as close now as we were then, if not closer. It's funny how things that you thought were important then are not as important now. If you can forgive and move on with your life, you can find peace. You must learn how to forgive, not only other people, but also yourself. I take nothing for granted. I now have only good days, or great days. I try to instill this philosophy in my son Zakary, a 12 soon to be 13 year old. School has not changed much as far as the clicks are concerned. I have taught him to have consideration for others as well as tolerance. To be kind and to remember everyone you meet is fighting a battle-everyone lonesome. It's easier said than done. I can only give advice or put him on the right path, but the final forming of a persons character lies in his own hands. So much has changed in my life since school it's amazing. Before I had my son I was lost and not much purpose in my life as where I want to go with my future, I did not know. At Twenty four I had Zakary and since then I've been on quest to make sure he will become a good person and achieve anything he sets his mind to. I chose not marry my son's father moved to Fort Lauderdale ...Expand for more
to be with my family. Had a good job running a Title Company. That's when I met my husband Scott and moved to North Palm Beach, Juno Beach, Pompano Beach, Cutler Bay, and now City of Naranja. (South Miami). We got married in 2006 after 4 years of being together. I stopped working in 2006. I love being a mother and wife. I am blessed to have traveled many places. I love boating and fishing! I love the water. We fly a lot and have 421 Golden Eagle. My life hasn't been without trials. My separation from son's father was very hard on my son. It took some time for him to get over it and to forgive me. My mother was diagnosed with Lung cancer 4 years ago. Thanks to my husband that's a Doctor in Infectious Diseases he was able to get her the treatment she needed to beat it. She no longer smokes. And a soon to be teenager that likes to talk back and not listen. Well.... to be his own person I can't fault him for that. For long time it seemed to me that life was about to begin real life. But there was always some obstacle in the way, something to be gotten through first, some unfinished business, time still to be served, a debt to be paid. At last it dawned on me that these obstacles were my life. This perspective has helped me see there is no way to happiness. Happiness is the way. So treasure every moment you have and remember that time waits for no one. Happiness is a journey, not a destination. Ronda
