I've had quite an adventure! After high school, I went to the University of Arizona. After getting a masters degree, I headed east, spending a few years in the Ozark Mountains of Arkansas. A dream was to live and work in Africa, and I was able to realize that dream. I spent two years in Nigeria working for an international research institute. When I returned stateside, I moved to Washinton, D.C., where I found a job with a Congressional agency working as a researcher on municipal solid waste issues. After that I began working for consulting firms. I recently started a new project, supporting the counterproliferation of weapons of mass destruction. I was in Washington on September 11, 2001 -- way too close to where one of the planes hit the Pentagon. That incredible day was followed by the anthrax and sniper incidents.
