Ronda's Story
I would love to be remembered as the person that enjoyed everyone.
I always wanted to be a math teacher when I grew up. I was a math major and a Phyc minor in college. I was blessed to fine a career as a commercial escrow which allows me to use both.
I love going to watch the Arizona Diamondbacks play baseball. I love baseball.
Except for a year and half, I have lived in Flagstaff since graduation. I attended college in Oklahoma, Texas and then NAU. Susan Steves and I were room mates during college. I love living in Flagstaff.
I have two grown children, Renee 25 and Arron 19 and 2 grandsons, 6 and 2. I am raising my grandsons. My husband, son and grandsons all keep me jumping.
We live on 5 treed acres North of Flagstaff. It is my dream home. If I...Expand for more
could improve my home, I'd add a guest house so my son could have some private space.
If I won $100 million, I'd use the money to open homes for single moms to allow them the oppurtunity to beat the stats.
I married my best friend. It took us until we were 40 to make that decision. Being married to Carl is the best part of my life. If I could live my life over, I would have married him 20 years earlier
I still think jeans, tee shirts and flip flops are the dressy enough. Black jearns are for formal events.
I was honored with the Athena Award in 2002. Athena is a international award given for mentering, teaching and supporting women. I had 3 homes for single mothers and their children. We provided all these women needed to achieve their goals.
