Ronnie's Story

Life I remember the days in school and the NAVY. At least a lot of it. I was a party king! I don't know how I was able to function most of the time. In high school, we threw so many parties! In the desert, in my house, pretty much anywhere we could find to party at. I remember the old days when mom would come home and slap me in front of all my friends, while everyone else is jumping the fence and trying to figure out how to get the keg over the gate. Those where the days! Memories..memories! Then they let me join the NAVY. Thought I was gonna straighten my life out. I just partied even more. Hey....I had a free place to live, free food and my paycheck went to my drinking fund! What else could you ask for? Plus I got to see more of the world. Then I finished doing my time in the service and collected unemployment for 6 months. After all that fun...I went to work at the family bar. I bartended for 4 years and worked as a waiter in the family restaurant for a few more years! Made great money but spent it all on drinking! I spent at least $150 a night at each bar. I had a weekly schedule. I would get in a fight about 2 times a week and get kicked out of the local bars for a week. But, they would let me back in within 2 days because I spent so much money in their bars! Between me and my friends...they would make a killing! Then I worked at a Wal Mart Pharmacy for 4 years. What a waste of time that was. Working at a minimum wage job and never made over $10 an hour in 4 frustrating years. That sure didn't help the situation. Amounted to absolutely nothing. Somewhere in that time, I had time to get married. Can you beleive that? We had a few great years. We partied and just lived the life. We were spontanious as can be. After 4 years...my wife left me and moved to another state. That's when I found Jesus Christ. I needed to correct my way of living. I was going down hill quickly and I needed to be saved. Not only my health was going ...Expand for more
down, but I was falling apart mentally. Enough was enough. My Lord Jesus Christ saved me. I excepted him into my life and all is well. About 8 months later my wife came back to me and we worked out most of our problems. We are now both practicing Christians and still have a lot of work to do. We just had our 8 year Anniversary this last March. Now I am having another crisis in life. My wife had left me again because her career is very important to her and she beleives that the love I shared with her was not love. I will admit that I am far from perfect but I had never stopped loving her. We slipped from our time with Jesus for awhile and only got worst. We should have been putting each other on that pedistal and loving each other unconditionally. You let God slip out of your life and happiness just goes away because we are not living HIS will. Now she is wanting to file for divorce so she can go on with her career without me being in her way. Her heart has hardened for my love. There is nothing I can do but give it time and let my heart heal with God's love. Not on my time but on HIS time. He has a plan for me and I am going to seek it. Loneliness can make your heart bitter and hard. Don't let Satan take advantage of it because he will. I have been sober from alcohol and cigarettes since July 2002. Who would have thought? Someone tamed the Tiger! I still have many things to work on. I'm just glad I've made it this far. God has a plan for me and I will try my best to do his will. But, that concludes my interesting BIO. Sometimes you do learn from your mistakes. It took me almost 29 years to figure that out. Now I have a pretty good job working with electricity. Hopefully I won't cook myself, LOL. If I do...it was meant to be. Or I was just a careless idiot, LOL. God Bless you all and visit me sometime. Write me, lets chat about old and new times. Just because I'm a Jesus Freak now, doesn't mean I don't know how to have fun anymore.
