Robb's Story
Hi all..I am way behind as social media of any type is really not my thing!
In the fall of 1969 I headed west to the University of Northern Colorado and spent the next few years hanging out with Bruce (Magoo) McGarry as both of us made our way through our college years in Greeley, CO. I returned to Maynard/Acton most summers and worked with, and then for, my long time friend, Gerry Richardson at the Maynard Country Club. lub teams after graduating. It was a fantastic experience! I also played hockey for UNC in my junior and senior years there.
Upon graduation in the spring of 1974, I secured a teaching job in the Greeley school system and taught elementary PE for 35 years! I loved my job and had the best of both worlds; teaching young students eager to learn during the school day and then coaching skilled teenagers after school.
Going back to Maynard this Friday to visit an ailing aunt. Will be there June 9-14, 2017. Maybe I'll see one or more of you!
