Rosa's Story

Right after high school, I married my high school sweetheart, Paul Evans, he graduated from Central in 1983. We've been married for 24 yrs and we have four sons ages 25 yrs, 24yrs, 22 yrs, 16 yrs and one grandson 1 1/2 yrs. Yes, I am a grandmother! It hasn't been that long, has it? tion and never left. After raising my children and working 15 yrs for the government, I went back to school to realize my life-long dream of becoming a nurse. I work at a local hospital as a registered nurse on a Med/Surg floor. My long-term goal, as a nurse, is to do travel nursing, eventually gravitating back to Flint or one of the surrounding areas to work for awhile.
