Rosalie's Story
Life
We've been living in the Puget Sound area in Washington now for a year. Well, half a year really as Steve and I were on the east coast
for training for his job with the navy for almost six months. While there, we saw a lot of interesting historical places--Jamestown, Kitty Hawk, etc. and, of course, Washington, D.C. which I'd love to go back to explore some more. The Smithsonian's are incredible!
We're looking forward to seeing the summer here this year if Steve doesn't have to be off somewhere else for work. They're talking of sending some workers to San Diego, Hawaii and even Japan so none of those would be too bad, I guess! Japan especially would be an adventure!
We both enjoy gardening and he built me some garden boxes at the house we just moved to. We belong to an organic garden club.
We recently bought a used hybrid car, Honda Insight, which we'd been wanting to since they came out in 2000. It just makes sense with gas prices continuing to go up. We enjoy o...Expand for more

Our youngest daughter's either planning on going to university in the
fall or joining Peace Corp or something along those lines. Our middle
daughter, 24, enjoys her job at the library and has a young man with
"intentions". He's in the air force, though, so it's a long distance re-
lationship though she hopes to visit him this summer where he'll be stationed. Our oldest is going on a trip to Europe, planning on stay-
ing at hostels. She's going with a friend.
Life is good but so unpredictable and, these days, we just never know what may be around the corner what with diasters, the world in an uproar.
Jesus is still very important to me and I'd encourage anyone reading this to consider opening your life and heart to Him as His love is so great for you. It's never too late to begin relationship with Him and we could never have done too much or been "too bad" for His love to accept us just as we are, warts & all. Thanks for letting me share with you!
