Rosalie (Rose)'s Story
Life
I left West Fulton and married 1957.(No I never married Jr. Caviness).I have a wonderful son and daughter , Both are happily married. I have 4 beautiful grandchildren I divorced after 24 yrs of marriage in 1980, then married again in 1982 and moved from Ga. to Newport News VA. for 18 yrs with the Army Air Force Exchange Service,I retired in 2001 , moved back to Ga. to be near my family. My husband died Dec, 2002. I now live in an apt. near the north Ga Mountains and enjoy life. I visit Smyrna, Riverside, Grove Park occassionally to see how the old home places look now. I have white hair, still love life...Expand for more
and have lots to live for. I will always remember the kids I knew at Chattahoochee Elem., Robert E. Lee Jr High of Miami,Fla ,Campbell of Smyrna, and West Fulton. Life in those days was hard for me, I grew up fast and Have survived many pitfalls, but I really learned to respect each day and not take life for granted. Rose
Workplace
Began my first 3 yrs. with AAFES at Ft. Gillem in Atlanta. Transferred to Newport News, Va. where I worked as a Dock Foreman, then the accounting office until I retired in 2001 and moved back to my home state Ga. The 15 yrs. in Va. were good, the people help make it that way.
