Rosalyn's Story
I spent my career in education. Starting as an a classroom teacher then as an elementary math teacher and the last 11 years as an elementary school principal.
Many of you will remember my twin sister Madalyn (Mimi). Mimi passed away on 2/14/07. She died of pancreatic cancer. (She had survived breast cancer for 17 yrs.) The loss of my twin continues to be one of the saddest and most difficult times in my life.
I have a son and a daughter and 5 grandchildren-the joy of my life. Mimi has a son and a daughter and 3yr. old twin granddaughters. (We both adopted a child)
My passion has always been travel especially to countries where I can hike. In the last 2 ...Expand for more
years I have visited France (3x) Spain (hiking), Crete(hiking), Scotland(hiking), Equador(hiking), Galapagos Islands, Puerto Rico, California, Colorado and Dallas TX(my son and his family reside in Dallas). (I work out in the gym 5 days a week -an obsession!)
I am traveling to Panama in August to hike and to Paris in September.
My 2nd husband and I live in White Plains and he works as a CEO in Manhattan.
I have not heard from any of my Kensington class mates until I got an e-mail from Audrey Kuchiniski-Tumbarello! Thanks for contacting me Audrey.
