Roscoe's Story
Wow, where did time go?! I'm sure that more than myself have asked that question. I left Newark at 17 to join the Army as an Infantryman. Grew up quick and it was one of the best decisions I made in my life. I had a break in service but ultimately rejoined the Army. t away. After retiring, I had the pleasure of traveling the country and training SWAT teams and other first responder's to critical incidents. Again, a pleasure to have interacted with some of the nations best tactical teams. I have a son and and two daughters. I have been blessed with five grandchildren. Strangely, I'm back in the bay area having come full circle. I tell folks I'm 57 and I don't know what I want to be when I grow up!. I feel like if you stop moving.....you're a target... So, on that note, I just entered another Bachelor's program... you can never stop learning. So there it is....a whole bunch of years rolled into a couple paragraphs.....definitely the "Readers Digest" version! I spend these days not working to hard, playing my guitar, riding the Harley, and enjoying my grand babies.
