Rose's Story
After graduating from Beaufort High School in 1979, I immediately enlisted into the U.S. Navy where I spent the next 20 years serving our Armed Forces. I retired from the U.S. Navy in 1999 and started working in the Legal Department with civil services and stayed for ten years giving the government a total of 30 years of service. as blessed me with being able to live in a strong conversative southern Baptist community and an awesome Church to boot. I am in the process of pursuing my dream of having my own greeting card collection published and keeping busy with an assortment of other hobbies. I am married to Ted McAlpine, also retired Navy. Together we have been blessed with seven children and 12 grandchildren with one more on the way.
