Rose's Story
Life
I live in the Dallas/Fort Worth areas with my three dogs, Lucky, Sadie and Natasha. I've been here for about 12 1/2 years. I have a grown daughter who is a doctor in Austin. I am currently embarking on a new career as a Medical Transcriptionist. I like the idea of working from hoem, but what really motivated me to change careers was that I was laid off from NBC in 2007. It's been diffcult getting back into the broadcasting business because the technology is changing so much and automation is taking over. The enconomy isn't helping either...Expand for more
. But I've never been so stress free, and this past years has been one of self rediscovery. I've taken up cycling and while I'm still a bit heavy, I've really come to enjoy those gruelig hours on my bike and plan to be half the size by next cycling season. I'm not a speedster, slow and steady is my motto. But I'm faster and stronger than I use to be. I also swim regularll and have plans to compete in a triathlon before my 60th birthday. Now if I can just say injury free, I will succeed in my ultimate goal. Life is good, can't really complain.
