Rose HOlt:  

Rose is from Fort Worth, Texas. She is mother to one awesome son, Robert Myers and is in love with his beautiful bride Aja. Rose is grandmother to three gorgeous children (Johnny, Kylie, Opal) and another on the way! She is recently widowed from her beloved Bob. Rose's schooling included Haltom High School (Go Buffs!), Texas Tech, LeTourneau University and she is a Seminary Graduate from Theological University of Cedar Rapids. She completed schooling with a BBA in Business Administration & Management. Her former career for almost 20 years, was in the Financial Industry as a licensed Insurance Agent and Stockbroker, but her field within this industry was Compliance. She worked as Supervisory Officer with several Broker Dealer Branch Offices, holding the General Securities Principal and Municipal Securities Principal registrations. She recently retired from this industry and career path, to embrace a new industry and profession more in tune with her spirit of adventure...that of TRAVEL & VACATIONS! She is now an independent owner of a CruiseOne, Travel and Vacation franchise. She is Self Employed and President of CruiseOne, R Holt & Associates and is loving every minute!. Rose's interests include VACATIONS & TRAVEL (and lots of it!), arts and crafts, those grandbabies, her church, family and friends. Her music choices are diverse, but include acapella gospel, classical, soft rock and easy jazz. Books she prefers to read are usually the older classical works, which include stories by Rudyard Kipling (such as "A Pilgrim's Way"), Lewis Carroll (Alice stories), CS Lewis (anything he wrote, such as The Screwtape Letters) James Whitcomb Riley (she loves The Raggedy Man and Little Orphan Annie) and Charles Dickens (also anything).
