Rose Brodersen:  

Rutherford High School was great...I loved sports, Rammettes, Beta Club and Anchor Club. After graduation from Gulf Coast Community College & Florida State University (Seminole Swim and Track Teams, ASA Softball), I went to Germany for 12 years and continued to play sports until I was 36 years old. There I married Michael Brodersen and our daughter Dawn Leigh Brodersen was born 1989 at Hahn Air Force Base Germany. Dawn is 20 years old now and in 2008 received a softball athletic scholarship to play as a catcher at the University of California Riverside, Division 1. She is currently a junior and her 17 hour college days consist of conditioning, weight training, classes, offense and defense softball drills, study hall, sports psychology sessions and homework.
