Rosemarie's Story
Life
The person I always admired and still do is Helen Keller. She overcame so many obstacles in life and became a respected and admired individual. I don't think many of you know this but I always wanted to teach the Blind. Due to circumstances in life I could not make that dream come true.
One dream I did make come true was to find a wonderful caring man and I did. Karl is my friend, my soulmate and my husband. He has been a rock for me. My other dream was to move away from Meriden and I did. I live in Guilford now. I work at walmart where I have been for 13 years. I am however searching other avenues. ely farm where I volunteer once a month. I enjoy wriring poetry and one day may publish my poems. I have one poem listed on poetry.com. I am also looking into mentoring with children with learning disabilities and training Fidelco guide dogs.
In the nice weather I enjoy taking walks on the green, down to the docks or Jacobs beach. From the beach or the docks you can look out and see Faulkner Island and the light house. We got to actually visit the lighthouse and island this past September. It was a breathtaking experience.
life has been busy, but happy.To add a note I have gotten my associates in accounting and I am looking into classes in signing.
