Roshanda's Story
Today is May 16, 2015. I decided to sign in for a moment because I'm feeling overwhelmingly sentimental right now!! Over the last 20 years, I have served my country, taught school, done a lot of singing, teaching and writing music, but I can truly say my greatest masterpiece(s) in my life are my three beautiful children! They have inspired me to keep moving even when I felt like giving up. There is nothing in the world that can replace being a loving mother. It is challenging and rewarding at the same time!!!

he will be graduating from HS exactly two weeks from now! When your first-born graduates, it is an indescribable feeling. It is bitter-sweet because we are so proud but come to the reality the child must move on to create their own legacy! I called my mom crying because I've been feeling so emotional! She consoled me and assured me she felt exactly the same way when her first-born (me) graduated around this month in 1993 !!!
I miss my classmates and remember having so much fun with my close friends at the football games, dances, choir events, church, and just hanging out!!! Have a great day classmates!!
