Roshonda's Story
Life
Nobody but God!! HE is the source of my life. I love the Lord and I am here to let everyone know that HE is so WONDERFUL. He has blessed my life tremendously. I have seen so many things. But as I continue to grow in my spirtuality and my personal life, I plan to continue my career and go wherever the Lord sends me. I have been blessed to travel to another country and have seen a totally different aspect of life and now how to appreciate the small things. Send me an email...or better yet...I will see you at the reunion.
School
Finished for now!! About to recieve my Masters in Communication Sciences and Disorders. I have had a long journey, but God continues to order my steps through it all. Without His love and his vision for me I would be lost! I am so blessed. I plan to return to work on my PhD. but for now Im good....

So what does all of this mean...it means that I will be a Speech Language Pathologist. I am capable of diagnosing and providing treatment to patients. This includes adults and pediatrics. I can choose to work in a hospital or a school. So for instance...if I work in the hospital I will see mainly voice disorders, people who have had laryngectomees, stroke surviovors, alzhimers, dementia....the list goes on....If I decide to work with the little ones..I will be in the schools or a childrens hospital or clinic, working with kids with various disabilities ie. autism, kids who stutter (fluency), language delay, cerebral palsy....etc Wow...I have some job dont I!! I LOVE IT
