Rosie (Rosey)'s Story

Obviously I didn't fill this out so I'll try now. I am living in a very tiny town in northern Kansas with husband Bob; rescue dog Whitney a 6 year old Soft Coated Wheaton Terrier; and 3 horses: a Thoroughbred named Mr. Tall(30-ish, 2 Arabians I raised myself...Denali Maajik (13), and Denali Priincess (8 1/2). Our three daughters were born in Fairbanks, Ak. and our son was born in Anchorage. Our oldest surviving daughter lives and works in Fairbanks after living in the midwest for several years; her younger sister lives in West Palm Beach, Fl. and our son and his wife and children (our only grandchildren)live in Denver, Co. We lost our oldest daughter (and her fiance of 12 years) in Dec. 2000 in an auto accident in Oklahoma. everal years wrote a newspaper column titled "Animal Tracks". I am considering resuming that activity but nothing in stone yet. I have been very involved in Parelli Natural Horse-manship and have attended classes at their Pagosa Springs, Co. Ranch on 3 occasions...two of them with Maajik. I've lived with knee problems and thus had my first knee replacement surgery in Nov. of '08 and will have the second one done on Mar. 18, 2010. I intend to be in Idaho on May 6th for my Mother's 93rd birthday so have a very ambitious agenda for this second surgery. I look forward to resuming more activities with my horses,as well as my volunteer work with Independence Farms Inc School of Therapeutic Riding..which I've been involved with since 2001. I hope this fills in some of the nearly 50 years since we were all kids in school. I'm also on Facebook if interested. May God bless all of you...Rosie

Too funny...
Interesting tidbit from Alaska, Canada, Greenland and part of Russia.....
I used to do this every night when I got off of the school bus....Yes, I was a dog musher in Alaska....I mushed 5 dogs in competition...and drove them on a 9 mile trail for training ...and had races every Saturday..
