Ross's Story
It's been a busy and exciting life so far! Graduating with degrees in Computer Science and Communications in 1992 turned out to be a lucky and fortunate choice. The web launched just a couple of years later, I joined IBM that same year, and they rewarded me for my degrees by moving me across the country... four times! I moved from California to New York and back (by way of Chicago and Texas), then from California to Connecticut and back (by way of Oregon and Colorado). Among many many other projects, I was part of the team that wrote the first version of the code for what became monster.com, and part of the team that helped rebuild Franklin Templeton Investments after 9/11.
These days, I'm back in southern California, part of the senior management team for IBM supporting one of our largest health care customers.

loves for eclectic music, driving ever-smaller, ever-faster cars long distances (so far, I've driven four out of the six routes it's possible to cross the country on), books, big dogs, central California beaches, and all that moving has made me pretty good at fixing up houses. And computers are in there somewhere too; my home office looks almost exactly like you probably think it does. ;-)
My wife and I recently celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary, and I'm coming up on joining the Quarter Century Club at IBM. High school and Bakersfield seem like a long way away and a long time ago... hardly anyone who knew me from that time recognizes me. But I still have a lot of family there, so I get back whenever I'm able. My 30th high school reunion is coming up! Hope to hear how some of you Drillers and Rebels are doing!
