Roxane's Story
I went to nursing school after graduation and became an RN. I also married, had a baby, and got divorced within the following four years. (live and learn) Worked on a med-surg floor and then worked for a nursing agency, then ICU at Baptist East which is now Baptist Memphis. I loved that job. I recovered post op open heart cases. dded to the mix for a grand total of 3-all boys! I don't work outside the home now but I keep my nursing license current. At some point I might return to nursing when the kids are a lot older. It's hard to believe that almost 20 years have gone by. Don't look now but somebody's gettin' old! Ah, but life is good and I wouldn't change a thing-not even the bumps in the road. If not for the rocks in its bed, the stream would have no song!
