Roxanne's Story
Life
I graduated from Sonoma State University (Rohnert Park, CA) in 1995 with a B.A. in Criminal Justice and a minor is Sociology. I worked for the SSU Police Department for five years as a Police Dispatcher. I met my future husband in October of '93 in a CJA class and we were married in August of '99.
Both of us returned to school in '98 as we were unsatisfied with our career choices. I went back to get my M.B.A. and Charles to get a degree in Communications. Charles graduated in December of '00 and started working for KGO-TV in San Francisco as a Sports Producer. His career is in Sports Broadcasting and if you know anything about that field, we will be moving around the country a lot for the next few years. We moved to Eugene, OR in March ...Expand for more
of '00 where Charles took a position as the fill-in Weekend Sports anchor. After only 7 months we were on the road again, this time moving to Kennewick, WA. Needless to say, I will be changing jobs for a while. He is now the full-time weekend sports anchor for KNDU-TV (NBC affiliate) and has signed a two-year contract!!! Thank God we'll be here for at least two years.
After living in WA for two years we moved to Des Moines, IA for two more years while Chuck worked for WOI-TV. As of Nov '03 we are living in Phoenix, AZ for Chuck is working for KTVK-TV as a Sports Reporter. We plan to live here with our 10.5 month son for a very long time - yeah! I am currently a stay at home mom. We bought our first home in September 2004 and are loving it.
