Roy's Story
After leaving High School I went to Radio college of Canada, graduated with honours ans was hired by IBM on April 7 1975 as a hardware service rep. I Married Afra Van Stralen in October 1975 and we have 3 daughters
Continued working in the different divisions till I became a country specialist working out of Toronto and we moved to Ajax. In 1991 I had the opportunity to move back to St Catharines in 1991and went back to ...Expand for more
the field as a branch specialist servicing large servers and mainframes.
Went back to Country support in 2012 as a storage specialist and working from home supporting customers and service reps for Canada and the Caribbean.
After over 41 years I will be retiring from IBM October 1 2016 and for our 41st wedding anniversary Afra and I are going to hike the Grand Canyon for 4 days going from rim to rim and then back again
