Roy's Story
My life since Central. Arkansas State University 78-Dec 80 degree in Business Admin. ROTC at ASU then US Army 1981-1992. Exited active duty 1992 moved to Mesa, AZ (Phoenix metro). 1993 -2010 career as a Wal-Mart manager Mesa, AZ. Joined the Army Reserves in 1993. Deployed 2005 to Afghanistan for one year. Deployed 2008 to Iraq for one year. Retired from US Army with 28 years of service. Left Wal-Mart in 2010 to take a Contracting job in Afghanistan with L3 Communications Inc. Family: I amy married to Luvell (Central High Class of 1977). We have 4 girls born in 1977, 1977(adopted), 1986, and 1990. All are adults now with the youngest currently going to the University of Arizona. I have two grand kids Tyson (7) and Braya (3) brother and sister.
I have attend every Central class of 1976 reunion. I wil not be able to attend the one scheduled for this 2010 because I'm out of the country. If you are in Arizona give me a call, I'm in the phone book.
