Life (edited 7/30/17) I left San Benito after graduation in May 1970. I went to a junior college (Phoenix College) for 2 years. I met my wife my first year there and we were married in December 1974. By them she and I had both graduated from Arizona State and I was in medical school in Baylor College of Medicine (in Houston). After Baylor, I did a three year residency in internal medicine at St. Joseph's Hospital in Phoenix. In 1980 I went into private practice the Sun City/Peoria area where I still practice. Our first child Lisa was born in 1979. She is a computer systems engineer with Drive Time. She was one of the top women in the world in the 3000 meter steeplechase and went to Helsinki (as did my wife, younger son Tony, my mother and I) to compete in the World Track and Field Championships in 2005. She did not run her best and did not make the finals. She was an 8-time All-American at Arizona State and won 7 state titles in high school in cross country and track and field.
