Ruben's Story
We are doing great just getting older. The book is titled The Essence of Az. go to any Barnes and Nobles and order it. My Cds Nacimiento 1999 and Slang 2007 i still have plenty them. So when i make my trip to New Mexico around my birthday August 16 every year i can sell you one. I'm working on a new cd which will be released sometime in 2017, possibly March. It will have songs like 'New Mexico', 'Entrege Total' , Rio Grande Valley Trail'. It's Slang/Latin Rock style with a lot of crunching guitar solo's. l (Shorty) Alvarado, Roman Garcia, myself, my son Dino, Isaac Garcia and many acquaintances( familia) stay in touch. One time 1969 graduates had lunch at Si Senor, about 10 of us. Going home I've ate breakfast with (el quate) Mike Boyer, him and Mitch have shown up to a Playmate reunion. I became a pretty decent cook, have loved my wife forever, i also have a pitbull named Goliath, my wonderful grandson's Jacob (23) and David. The new name on the music side I'm using is 'LaManda'. I put bands together in the LA area and perform every now and then. My music is more original, with Tex-Mex, Latin Rock and Pop all mixed together.
