Life
Hello Everyone! Things are going well. In high school, I always had a book in my hand, so it seems natural that I grew up to be a college librarian (Yes, I did teach school for a while and plan to return one day as a Media Specialist).
I currently manage the Programming and Outreach Manager of The Citadel's academic library in Charleston, SC. It's been 30 years of working hard in the education field and giving back to my community. I am still St. Stephen proud! I don't have any kids to put on my tax return, although Nell's & Gene's two sons spend a great amount of time visiting and eating me out of house and home. St. Stephen Elementary and J.K. Gourdine for a total of 28 years, she loved all of you and was proud of the fact that she gave her students a solid foundation.
Mother passed away in the spring of 1986. Folks are always asking how she is doing and a I can truly say she is in a wonderful place smiling down on us daily. She was a special woman who touched many lives. Take care everyone. Now let's sing the words of the Alma Matta as we fade to the pep rally in the gym were the Mighty Rams are preparing for one more great season!
