I always wanted to be a teacher when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a very appropriate idea. As it turns out, they were right. I just didn't become the traditional school teacher. My biggest dream from my seventeenth birthday was to marry my sweetheart, Ron Campbell. We had a perfect relationship and decided to marry after I finished business school. We wed the summer after graduation. He was drafted into the army two months later and I was so grateful for the education I had gotten. My first job was as a bookkeeper and I lived independently. He was in Korea for two years. Upon his return, we bought a house and could finally begin the family we had wanted. I had four babies in a five year span and then the bottom fell out of the dream and we parted. Thank God for my family.
