Russ's Story
Graduated UW Madison Jan 1969. Degree major was psychology.
Enlisted in USAF June 1969 and started pilot training in November of that year.
USAF pilot from Nov 1969 to Nov 1976. Flew C-130 aircraft first as co-pilot, then pilot, then lead qualified pilot and finally as a check pilot for the Wing and Little Rock AFB in Jacksonville, AR.
Joined Proctor & Gamble working in Milwaukee in Nov 1976 and left in June 1977.
Joined Electronic Data Systems (Ross Perot's company) in Dallas June 1977 and retired in Nov 2007.
Worked as computer programmer and various leadership positions ending as Chief Information Officer for State & Local Strategic Business Unit.

s Jan of 2008, worked as Chief Technical Officer for State Eligibility system development and then worked on the successful procurement of the California Medicaid services contract.
Was retired from April 2010 to Jan 2012.
Joined British Telecom in Jan 2012 working as the Client Executive for PepsiCo. Responsible for all aspects of the PepsiCo global network.
Retired in May 2013, and am currently retired - or looking for the right opportunity.
Have a son and daughter who live here in the Plano area and six grandchildren - 4 boys and 2 girls. All are playing competitive youth soccer - as did both of my children.
So I spend time with them, riding my Harley, reading and listening to jazz.
